Robert Half Finance & Accounting are partnering with a leading Entertainment Business in London to recruit an immediate, Interim Management Accountant for 6 months.
Role:
Our client is looking for an immediate interim Management Accountant to assist them for 6 months. You will be responsible for following duties:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and reconciliations
- Proactively investigate and resolve any mis-postings or imbalances within the accounts
- Analyse performance and variances against budgets and forecasts in the Weekly Flash, providing clear commentary and recommendations
- Monitor and control costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement and working with Operational teams to implement and track these improvements
- Conduct regular financial reviews with budget holders to support performance against targets
- Complete VAT returns for UK attractions
- Review royalties and prepare quarterly statements
- Monthly reconciliation of revenue systems, third-party ticket partners, gift vouchers
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting, working with department heads to build realistic plans
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives, providing financial input and insight as required
- Support process improvement initiatives within the finance function
- Attend Company events, previews, press nights and performances as required
Profile:
The successful interim Management Accountant will have a minimum of 2+ years experience
You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.
Salary & Benefits:
This role is paying between £20-£22.50p/h
