Management Accountant
Location: Dudley (On-site)
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + Benefits
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a well-established and successful manufacturing business in Dudley to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a key, hands-on role within a close-knit finance team, offering real visibility across the organisation and the chance to influence operational and financial performance.
You’ll play a pivotal part in delivering accurate financial information, supporting decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across both finance and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including commentary and insights
- Lead on budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with key stakeholders
- Deliver variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring strong financial control
- Partner with operational teams to support costing, stock management, and margin analysis
- Assist with year-end processes, including audit and statutory reporting requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
About You
- Part-qualified, qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or QBE with strong management accounting experience
- Background in manufacturing or a similar environment (highly desirable)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- A proactive team player, comfortable working independently and collaborating across departments
