The business is seeking a high-energy, nearly or newly qualified accountant who enjoys a hands-on role and is eager to develop their career. There is significant scope to add value, drive efficiencies, and contribute new ideas within a collaborative and forward-thinking finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and delivering accurate, timely monthly management accounts, supported by meaningful analysis and commentary.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of financial data.
- Developing and enhancing expense reporting processes.
- Supporting treasury management activities.
- Assisting the Financial Controller with ad hoc projects, reporting requirements, and business improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and governance frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience preparing and presenting financial information and reports to key stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly and effectively.
- Experience supporting projects that contribute to strategic business objectives.
- Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across the business.
