We’re working with a well-established and growing organisation based in Mansfield to recruit a Commercial / Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to step into a commercially focused role with strong exposure to business partnering and financial planning.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Reporting on overhead costs for designated departments, including preparation of monthly prepayments and accruals
- Producing detailed departmental reports to support financial planning and performance analysis
- Investigating and explaining variances between actuals and budget/forecast figures
- Building strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders, acting as a business partner for financial queries
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, including calculation of key figures across cost lines
- Presenting monthly financial reports to senior finance stakeholders
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with group and statutory audits
- Supporting project work, including integration of new subsidiaries
- Providing ad-hoc support to the wider UK finance team
Person Specification:
- Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar finance role
- Strong Excel and systems skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
