Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days at home (however more days will be spent in office during the start stage for training purpose.)

Who You'll Be Working for:
Our client is an international trading company
Mandarin speaking Junior Credit Analyst – What You'll be Doing Each Day:
- Assessment of counterparty risk/exposure being taken on the company client portfolio. This is primarily clients trading listed and OTC commodities covering Softs, Base Metals, Energy and Precious Metals.
- Direct reporting to the Risk Manager/Head of Risk and to the Credit Committee members for risk decisions.
- Required to make proposals relating to limits or recovery action to the Senior Management. The Senior Management will have the ultimate decision-making responsibility.
- Ultimately the role is to provide Senior management with a summary of counterparty risk for each client analysed.
- Counterparty Analysis providing a clear summary of the counterparty risks (business/financial) through written and verbal presentations.
- Presentation of files for decision to Senior Management via Credit Committee.
- Close liaison with the Account Executives and visiting clients/attending in-house meetings when required.
- Assist in the daily management of credit risk within the client portfolio.
Mandarin speaking Junior Credit Analyst – The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- University Degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting or related field.
- 1 years’ experience in a similar role with knowledge of commodity brokerage business and listed products will be an advantage.
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in Mandarin and English, to allow effective and efficient communications with internal and external stakeholders in the UK as well as those in Greater China area (where group companies and the ultimate parent company are based).
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to make quick reasoned recommendations.
- A dedicated team player who can work effectively with others and help to build strong teams and networks, especially within a culturally diverse environment.
- Experience working in MS Office Word and Excel
Job status: Permanent
Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday – Friday
Start date: ASAP
