Warehouse Operative – Packaging Industry
Location: Greater Manchester
Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm Friday: 7:30am – 2:00pm
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £12.71 per hour
About the Role
We're looking for a hardworking and dependable Manufacturing Operative to join our growing packaging operation. You'll play a key part in keeping our production area running smoothly – from handling stock and preparing orders to supporting production teams when needed.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in working efficiently, and thrives in a busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders
- Working on a Press – Producing foam production and corrugated cardboard
- Working from drawings – assembling and glueing foam based products
- Supporting production teams with materials and packaging supplies
- Operating warehouse equipment (training provided)
- Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe
- Following all company health & safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous manufacturing and production experience
- Good level of physical fitness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well as part of a team
