Manufacturing Technician
Location: Pulborough, West Sussex
Salary: £27,605 per annum
Hours: Full time, permanent
This Manufacturing Technician role offers the opportunity to work within a structured, high-quality manufacturing environment producing electro-mechanical assemblies and final products to defined build standards. The Manufacturing Technician will work closely with engineering and quality teams, following drawings, bills of materials, and documented processes to ensure consistent, compliant output.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for building sub-assemblies and complete products, carrying out soldering and mechanical assembly tasks, and ensuring quality, safety, and housekeeping standards are maintained at all times. This position suits a hands-on Manufacturing Technician with previous electro-mechanical assembly experience and a methodical approach to build and documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Electro-mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies, PCBs, and final products
- Reading and interpreting drawings and bills of materials
- Raising non-conformance, rework, and build documentation where required
- Working to ISO9001, ISO14001, and health & safety standards
- Supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities
