Position: Marine Engineer
Location: Cookham
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
I am representing a well-established, Marine engineering company known for its high standards in servicing, diagnostics, and repairs. Due to continued growth and a strong reputation within the leisure and commercial marine industry, they are seeking an experienced Marine Engineer to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with inboard engines, diagnostic systems, and general boat maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that values technical expertise, teamwork, and a passion for the marine environment.
Marine Engineer Job Overview
- Day to Day service and maintenance of a range of Vessels
- Fault finding, diagnosis and rectification work on inboard Engine / Propulsion systems
- Ordering and fitting of replacement parts
- Working in a customer facing capacity
- Undertaking at-sea tests on repaired vessels
Marine Engineer Job Requirements
- Previous hands-on experience with Volvo – Penta Engines
- Previous experience working on Maritime Vessels
- Mechanically biased skillset including fault finding, diagnosis, PPM's and breakdowns
- Experienced working on inboard Maritime Engines
- Based within a commutable distance of Maidenhead
Marine Engineer Salary & Benefits
- Salary £35,000 – £40,000 DOE
- Company Bonus
- 28 Days holiday inclusive of public holidays
- Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
