The school are looking for an individual who has graduated university and is looking to secure a fantastic role as a Maths Teaching Assistant within a school with a reputation for the excellent training offered to its teachers. Following a full academic year this job offers the chance to enrol on a Salaried Teacher Training Course commencing September 2026. The school senior leadership team are looking to progress their own industrious Maths Teaching Assistants on to the next steps.
Maths Teaching Assistant – Job description
– Maths Teaching Assistant (Across KS3- KS5)
– Lead small intervention groups (including GCSE and A Level)
– Assist in the classroom with general TA duties.
– Support pupils with SEN in the classroom
– Located in Hastings
– September 2026 start, full-time position
– £115 – £130 per day
Maths Teaching Assistant – Person Specification
– Graduate in Maths/Kindred Degree
– Good A Levels & GCSEs
– Confident in maths knowledge
– Ability in a specialist subject to lead and support pupil's progress
– Strong communication skills to aid class teacher with progress of pupils.
– Work as part of a wider maths department team
