Position: Teacher – Maths Lead
Location: Bluebank School, Whittington Moor, Derbyshire, S41 8LQ
Salary: Up to £45,000.00 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am – 4.00pm
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: September 2026

Working closely with the Headteacher,DeputyHeadteacherandwiderleadershipteam,youwillleadthedevelopmentofanengagingandambitiousmathscurriculum,championhigh-qualityteaching,andhelpensureeverystudentachievestheirfullpotential.
AsourMathsSubjectLead,youwill:
- Leadanddevelopanoutstandingmathscurriculumacrosstheschool.
- Inspirealoveofmathematicsthroughengaging,creativeandinclusiveteachingapproaches.
- Support,mentorandcoachcolleaguestocontinuallyimproveteachingandlearning.
- Modelexceptionalclassroompracticeandshareeffectivestrategiesacrosstheteam.
- Monitorstudentprogressandusedatatodriveimprovementsinattainmentandoutcomes.
- Workcollaborativelywithseniorleadersonwhole-schoolimprovementinitiatives.
- Promotehighexpectations,curiosityandconfidenceinmathsforeverylearner.
