Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2026 due to a late resignation. This vacancy is offering an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher looking to secure a long-term role with the potential for a permanent appointment.

Your new role
- Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons
- Monitor and assess student progress effectively
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider school community
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion for inspiring students to achieve their potential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
