You’ll have the space and freedom to work alone.
You’ll need the skills and ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
Requirements
- Do you have a very good mechanical knowledge (Can change timing chains, engine replacement, clutch replacements, servicing + following Pdi Checks)?
- A good knowledge of Land Rovers?
- Are you Confident with different manufactures?
- Can you change timing belts and wet belts on different manufactures (Ford, Peugeot, VW etc)?
- Fault finding + Diagnosing issues correctly?
- Comfortable with rebuilding engines?
- Have your own small tools? (large tools provided)
- Are you able to work on your own at times?
- Electrical repair knowledge is desirable – not essential.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, and electrical components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and clients.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanics are advantageous.
- A valid driving licence is required.
