Position: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000
Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-establised manufacturer of electrical & mechanical systems based in the Carterton, Oxfordshire area. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview
- Producing mechanical designs elements for larger projects
- Producing detailing engineering drawings, including materials and surface finishing choices
- Ensuring Bill of Materials are correct and up to date
- Support the mechanical builds of prototypes
- Producing work instruction and diagrams
- Designing associated jigs
- Working closely with customers and suppliers
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements
- Degree qualified within a Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience within a Mechanical Design Engineering role
- Good knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Based in a commutable distance of Witney, Oxfordshire
- PC Literate
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary £30,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
- Holiday allowance and pension
