Mechanical Fitter
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a small, friendly team specialising in the manufacture of ultrasonic machines — from small bench systems through to full bespoke machinery.
This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll be involved in assembly, fitting, and supporting across different areas of production.
What you’ll be doing:
• Fitting and assembly of ultrasonic machines, both standard and bespoke.
• Occasional turning and milling of parts.
• Building guards from extrusion.
• Assisting in other areas of the workshop when required.
• Some on-site commissioning work (occasional).
What we’re looking for:
• A skilled mechanical fitter with strong hands-on fitting/assembly experience.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
• Proactive, flexible, and willing to support across different areas of the business.
• Ideally some experience with machining (turning/milling).
What’s on offer:
• Salary: Neg (depending on experience).
• Hours: 37.5 per week.
• Monday – Thursday: ½ hour lunch break.
• Friday: early finish at 1.00pm (no lunch break).
• Opportunity to work on interesting, bespoke engineering projects.
