Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Mechanical Fitter to assist on a short-term project. This position will involve supporting key installation and safety activities, including PVC piping, bolt work, and general compliance with site procedures.
The site is well-connected to public transport and the business will provide full PPE equipment (fireproof suit, safety glasses etc).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation and fitting of PVC piping systems
- Carry out bolt work including assembly, tightening, and securing components
- Support adherence to site safety procedures and standards
- Work closely with engineers and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and to required specifications
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in mechanical fitting, piping, or assembly work
- Familiarity with boltwork and basic installation techniques
- Strong understanding or willingness to follow health & safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
