Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing
Location: York
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm. (plus 1 in 8 on call)
Salary: £40,000 – £43,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance
- Perform preventative maintenance inspection (PM), diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including pumps, centrifuges, screw conveyors, gearboxes, milling equipment, pulleys, shafts, bearing and belts.
- Carry out fault diagnosis and rectification solutions.
- Mechanical installation and commissioning of new and repaired machinery and equipment.
- Carry out all work safely, in accordance with site safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Maintenance as a minimum
- Proven experience in an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing environments (FMCG preferable)
- Experience in fabrication and welding
