Job Title: Mechanical Modifications Technicians Location: Goole, East Yorkshire Hourly Pay Rate: £21.57 Paye / £29.00 Umbrella Shifts: Minimum of 40 hours a week, potentially rising to 45 hours after 12 weeks Shift Pattern: Mon – Fri 06:30 – 15:30 Duration: On-going contract Start Date: June 29th 2026
Position Summary: Working at a modern Rolling Stock production facility you who will initially be engaged for the implementation of a suite of modifications for the new London Underground Stock. You will be responsible for: * Carrying out mechanical and interior pre-sale modifications including underframe work * Recording work via internal IT systems * Carry out inspections and checks to ensure fleet reliability * Identify improvements and feedback into team leader * Advise and rectify any defects that are found
Qualifications / Education required: * Minimum requirements NVQ Level 3 or equivalent award in a Mechanical/Engineering discipline. * Minimum 18 months Mechanical Rolling Stock Modifications experience
