Metrologist
Job Description:
- Perform calibration of dimensional measuring instruments and reference standards to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using PC-DMIS software.
- Carry out dimensional inspections and verification activities to support production and quality requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations relating to dimensional and quality concerns, implementing effective corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed calibration records, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Work closely with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Metrologist
Essential:
- Previous experience working as a Metrologist, Calibration Engineer, CMM Engineer, or similar role.
- Extensive PC-DMIS programming experience.
- Strong understanding of dimensional metrology and calibration processes.
- Experience using a variety of precision measuring equipment and inspection tools.
