Midday Supervisor
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and reliable Midday Supervisor to join a friendly and supportive school in Upminster. This is an excellent opportunity for a Midday Supervisor who enjoys working with children and is committed to creating a safe, positive, and enjoyable lunchtime environment.
The successful Midday Supervisor will be responsible for supervising pupils during lunch breaks, ensuring their safety and wellbeing while promoting positive behaviour. Based in Upminster, this role is ideal for someone who is patient, approachable, and able to engage effectively with children of different ages.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Term-time only
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising pupils during lunchtime in dining and playground areas.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and respectful interactions.
- Assisting with the safe movement of pupils around the school.
- Supporting children with minor issues and reporting concerns where necessary.
- Helping to maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A caring, responsible, and professional approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
