We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Catering Truck Manager to lead an exciting new mobile catering offer within our vibrant independent school community.This is a unique opportunity to shape and run a versatile catering operation, serving pupils, parents, and staff across a range of settings.
The RoleYou will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of our new catering truck, delivering high-quality, fresh, and appealing food across multiple service points, including:
Boarders’ suppersMatch teas for pupils and parentsAdditional tuck shop provisionPop-up food offers across the school siteYou will play a key role in creating a dynamic and engaging food experience that complements school life.
Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the catering truck operationPlan and prepare menus suitable for varied audiencesDeliver excellent food quality and presentationEnsure high standards of hygiene, food safety, and complianceMonitor stock, ordering, and cost controlProvide outstanding customer service to pupils, staff, and visitorsDevelop creative ideas to grow and enhance the offerAbout you:Proven experience in catering, hospitality, or street food/mobile cateringStrong organisational and leadership skillsA creative approach to food and serviceAbility to work independently and as part of a wider catering teamConfident managing busy service periods and varied demandsFull, clean UK driving licence (essential)What We Offer:A varied and engaging role within a supportive school environmentThe chance to develop and grow a new catering conceptTerm-time working pattern (with occasional additional events)Competitive salary and benefits
