Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary: £57,750 per annum
Hours: Rotating shifts – 07:00-19:00 & 12:00-00:00 (occasional 09:00-21:00)
On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a busy manufacturing site.
The Role
- Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- PLC diagnostics and repairs
- Support continuous improvement projects
- Assist with machinery installations and commissioning
- Maintain CMMS records and ensure Health & Safety compliance
Requirements
- Previous maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing or production
- Electrically biased with strong mechanical skills
- Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- PLC fault-finding experience
- CMMS experience
