Hays Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Rochdale to recruit an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher for a September 2026 start. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school with an outstanding senior leadership team and a strong commitment to the arts.The school is seeking a passionate educator who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and creative lessons that develop musical skills, confidence and performance abilities.
Your new role
- Teach Music across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
- Encourage participation in musical performances, clubs and extracurricular activities.
- Monitor progress and support students in achieving their full potential.
- Contribute positively to the wider school community.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Passion for music education and student achievement.
- Ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities.
