Python in one hand, infrastructure-as-code in the other? Come automate a plant at serious scale.
Our client is a market leader in the financial and trading space, right in the middle of a DevOps transformation. You'll build the real-time APIs and back-end integrations that turn desired state into actual state across a huge, highly automated F5 and Infoblox environment — making infrastructure-on-demand a reality. Ideal for a Python developer who's automated a network, compute or middleware plant (Ansible modules or Terraform providers a real plus) — or a network/compute engineer who's been scripting low-level config and wants to go all-in on automation.
You'll
- Build automation for certification and plant management with Python and Ansible
- Extend and integrate APIs to deliver infrastructure-on-demand
- Automate lab-based testing for new hardware and software certification
- Work with stakeholders to design well-architected solutions that meet real business needs
You bring
- Strong automation experience with Ansible, Python, shell or similar
- F5 LTM & GTM expertise — TMSH, iControl and iRules
- Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, HTTP, SSL) and you're at home on Linux
- Knowledge of distributed web applications and their underlying infrastructure Bonus points for Infoblox, Cisco/Arista, containers and virtualisation, other languages, or vendor certifications.
On offer £90,000, fully remote in the UK after a 4–6 week London onboarding, and a genuine DevOps culture working on critical infrastructure at scale.
