Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Night Shift
Location: Haywards Heath
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:30pm-6:30am, including 30-minute unpaid lunch break (46 hours per week)
Pay: £16.07 per hour
Shift allowance: £212.08 per week
Production bonus: £9.47 per night
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Night Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join one of our longstanding clients, a busy manufacturing business.
This role will involve providing plant-wide electrical maintenance support during night shifts, ensuring machinery and equipment continue to operate safely and efficiently.

The Requirements:
- Qualified electrician with mechanical knowledge
- Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to health and safety and good housekeeping
The Role:
- Provide electrical maintenance and repair support across the plant
- Prioritise workload and respond effectively to breakdowns
- Follow isolation and lock-off procedures at all times
- Complete work instructions, reports and risk assessments
- Support machine set-up and changeovers to maintain production standards
- Liaise with the Maintenance Manager regarding maintenance requirements
- Maintain good housekeeping and follow company procedures
