Temporary Opportunity with Potential Extension
We are currently recruiting for a Night Receptionist to join a busy hotel based in Birmingham City Centre (B4). This is a temporary position initially covering shifts until September, with the potential for the assignment to be extended.
This role offers a great opportunity for someone with hotel, hospitality or reception experience who enjoys working nights and being part of a supportive team.
The Role
Working as part of a two-person night team, your duties will be split between reception responsibilities and conference room setup activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a professional and friendly reception service during night shifts
- Welcoming guests and responding to queries
- Assisting with basic reception administration and bookings
- Setting up conference and event rooms to the required specification
- Supporting hotel operations to ensure smooth overnight running
- Working closely with a colleague throughout each shift
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times

Weekly rota issued every Thursday for the following week

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in hotel, reception, hospitality or customer-facing environments
- Comfortable working overnight shifts
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Flexible and available for weekday and weekend work
- Able to work as part of a team
- Confident communicating with guests and colleagues
Hours
- Shift: 9:30pm – 7:00am
- Initially: 2 shifts per week
- Additional shifts may become available to cover holidays, and increased business demands during the summer.
