Role Responsibility
As a Night Support Worker, you will join The Lancashire Young People Supported Accommodation services that supports 18 young people (Aged 16- 21) across two locations at Parker House and The Bridge in Chorley who are threatened with homelessness/ leaving care/ looked after children or young people at risk.
As a Night Support Worker, you will provide added security, peace of mind and companionship to the young people at Parker House and The Bridge during out of office hours’ time.

As a Night Support Worker, you will be joining a team offering support to young people, the aim being to ensure the physical, social and emotional support and development of the young people at Lancashire Young People Supported Accommodation is achieved.
The Ideal Candidate
- Night times can be hard for young people as part of the wake night team you will need to be able to offer empathy and compassion during the night-time if needed.
- To be able to use a computer to keep accurate records.
- To be able to report young people as missing and follow the Missing Persons procedure in doing so.
- Communicate effectively with out of office hour support including The On Call .
- Answering phone calls professionally, taking messages and responding to requests and questions.
- To provide a positive working role model for other colleagues and the young people resident.
As a great team player with lots of energy, you’ll need strong communication skills, a flexible approach and positive attitude to achieve targets in a challenging environment which requires empathy, understanding and patience.
