Nights – Production Line Technician

- 12 hours shifts – 4 on/4 off
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Line Technician to join this global FMCG food manufacturer in materials/ingredients production sector.
As a Production Line Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our production lines, helping to maintain their high standards of quality and sustainability along with technical faults.
The successful candidate will have strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities, with experience identifying and rectifying mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or process-related issues on production machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production line equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- First responder to fault finding and if production stops
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot any line-related issues to minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the production team to enhance efficiency and production quality.
- Document and maintain accurate records of line operations and adjustments.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to drive operational excellence.
- Support the implementation of new processes and technologies.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar line technician or maintenance role within a FMCG OR high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a production setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
