Experienced Nurse Associate

Hours: 30 hours per week
A highly reputable group of general practices in Leicestershire are seeking an experienced Nurse Associate to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident nurse with primary care experience who is comfortable running clinics autonomously and is looking to join a supportive, forward-thinking practice.
The surgery places strong emphasis on staff wellbeing, flexibility, and long-term development, offering a working environment where nurses are genuinely valued and supported.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, running nurse-led clinics independently while being fully supported by a multidisciplinary team. The role will include:
- Wound care
- ECGs
- Phlebotomy
- Vaccinations and drug injections
- Ear irrigation
- Reviews: annual diabetes, dementia, heart failure, COPD, asthma,
- Cytology
- NHS health checks.
About the Practice
- Collective patient list size of approximately 20,000
- Supportive and collaborative clinical team including:
- GPs and GP Partners
- Practice Nurses
- HCAs
- ANPs
- Pharmacists
- Wider clinical and non-clinical support staff
The team is known for being welcoming and hands-on, with full support provided to help new starters settle into the practice and its processes.
