About the Opportunity
Reed Education are proud to be working in partnership with a warm, welcoming and child-centred nursery in Wakefield, who are looking to appoint a Level 3 Early Years Educator on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a setting that is passionate about delivering high-quality care and education, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential.
This role is full-time, working 40 hours in 4 days, 7.30am to 6pm. What's better than full-time pay, and an extra day of the weekend!
The Role
As an Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting children’s development, delivering engaging learning experiences and ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team, working together to create a positive environment for both children and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Observe, assess and support children’s learning and development
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Maintain a safe, clean and inclusive learning environment
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Keep accurate records and contribute to children’s learning journals
About You
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated early years professional who is:
- Qualified to Level 3 in Early Years (essential)
- Experienced within a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledgeable in the EYFS framework
- A strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic in their approach
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to provide two satisfactory references
