Salary: £37,870 – £50,474 per year (M1 – M6 Outer London)
About the role and school
We are seeking a Nursery Teacher to join an inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest from September. This Nursery Teacher role is ideal for a practitioner passionate about early childhood development, communication and language, and play-based learning.
The successful Nursery Teacher will join a strong EYFS team committed to delivering engaging learning experiences. As a Nursery Teacher, you will support pupils in developing confidence, independence and a love of learning from the very beginning of their educational journey.
This Nursery Teacher position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive environment where creativity and child-centred learning are highly valued.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging EYFS learning as a Nursery Teacher
- Support communication and language development
- Create stimulating learning environments
- Monitor progress and adapt provision accordingly
- Work closely with parents and support staff
- Promote positive outcomes as a Nursery Teacher
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience within EYFS desirable
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication skills
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
