A great opportunity has arisen within a long established manufacturing and logistics company for a highly organised and conscientious Office Administrator to join their busy facility in Medway Towns on a full-time basis. The role is initially on a temporary basis and there may be a permanent opportunity for the successful candidate after a qualifying period.
Hours of Work are , Monday-Friday.
This is a varied and rewarding role and as the first point of contact for customers, hauliers, suppliers, and colleagues, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of production, administration, purchasing, and stock control activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage customer orders accurately.
- Enter job information into company systems, ensuring all details and customer requirements are recorded correctly.
- Verify incoming load documentation and update production progress.
- Maintain accurate job files and production and quality records.
- Ensure goods are correctly labelled and recorded.
- Assist with purchasing raw materials, consumables, PPE, and First Aid supplies.
- Maintain accurate stock records and support regular stock checks.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers and hauliers regarding orders, collections, and deliveries.
- Work closely with the Site Manager, production team, and Accounts department to ensure efficient workflow and invoicing.
- Support site compliance by maintaining accurate records for audits and company procedures.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Confidence working with multiple priorities in a busy industrial environment.
- Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office and business systems.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively.
Experience within a background in manufacturing, production, logistics, or stock control would be an advantage but is not essential.
