The Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Office Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the Bristol office, ensuring it remains safe, compliant, well-maintained and provides an exceptional experience for colleagues and visitors.
Responsibilities will include
• Manage day-to-day office operations and oversee the presentation and smooth running of the office
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment by maintaining health and safety standards and a professional atmosphere.
• Serve as the primary office contact for office-related enquiries and coordinate with internal teams.
• Organise office events and activities, including meetings and workplace activities.
• Coordinate maintenance and facilities, including reactive and scheduled maintenance and external contractors.
• Conduct site inspections and support compliance actions, audit findings and statutory requirements.
• Oversee workplace equipment, office systems and facilities services.
• Maintain accurate records, registers, supplies inventories and contractor records.
• Manage procurement and supplies, including consumables, purchasing, invoice processing and budget administration.
• Foster effective relationships with landlords, suppliers and service providers.
The Person
For our client we are seeking an experienced Office Manager who has a can do and flexible approach. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating great workplace experiences and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service. You will be proactive, organised and comfortable embracing change positively.
• Experience in office, workplace or facilities management.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Experience managing suppliers, contractors or service providers.
• Good understanding of health and safety and workplace compliance requirements.
• Ideally IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health and safety qualification.
The Hours
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
