Are you a highly organised Office Manager who enjoys keeping a busy office running smoothly, efficiently, and professionally Do you thrive in a hands-on role where no two days are the same and you’re the go-to person for solving problems and supporting the wider business Workshop Recruitment is supporting a growing business in the search for an experienced Office Manager to join their team in Whiteley. This is a varied and hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day running of the office, supporting facilities, fleet coordination, health and safety, reception overflow, and wider operational administration. The successful Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring the office environment remains safe, well-organised, and fully operational, while also supporting project teams and internal stakeholders with a range of practical and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations, supplies, and equipment
- Oversee service contracts, subscriptions, and supplier relationships
- Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and utilities
- Manage general office health and safety administration and compliance
- Oversee company vehicle fleet servicing, maintenance, and records
- Support reception overflow, phone enquiries, and front-of-house duties
- Coordinate accommodation bookings and meeting space arrangements
- Assist with company events, internal functions, and general office queries
Skills & Knowledge Required
- Previous experience in an Office Manager, Facilities, or Operations role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable balancing planned responsibilities with reactive tasks
- Proactive, practical, and solutions-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Calm, adaptable, and service-oriented attitude
