We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of terminal activities in Southampton, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused operations across vehicle, breakbulk and heavy-lift cargo movements.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading day-to-day terminal operations and large operational teams
- Driving safety, performance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Managing labour, equipment, fleet and terminal resources
- Monitoring KPIs, budgets and operational efficiency
- Working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver outstanding service
- Supporting employee development, training and leadership growth
- Ensuring compliance with all operational, HSEQ and company standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing large teams in an operational environment
- Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
- Experience within terminal, port, logistics or cargo operations
- Ability to drive change, improve processes and solve problems
- Strong organisational skills with a focus on safety and customer service
- Full UK driving licence
- Fluent English communication skills
