About the Store • Medium-sized, consistently high-performing business • Recently boosted (October 2024), with modern facilities including OCT technology • 2 optical test rooms (with potential to expand to 12 clinics per week) • 1 hearing care room supporting 6 clinics per week • Retail team of 8 and a supportive clinical structure with a resident optometrist and locum cover
Culture & Leadership You'll be joining existing partner Garvan Mulligan, an experienced partner at both the established Waterford store, opened in 1994, and the Lisduggan store, which launched in 2019. You'll also be supported in store by a motivated and forward-thinking store manager. Together, they foster a strong commitment to growth, development, and progression, with a clear focus on building talent through structured career pathways and a “grow your own” philosophy, all within a supportive, positive, and highly collaborative team environment.
With an already successful and stable foundation, there is clear scope to grow the business by increasing sight test volumes, expanding the contact lens offering, and building further on a loyal patient base in a high-demand location.
