Job Description:
My client is seeking a reliable and dedicated Warehouse Packer to join their team based in BL3. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
– Packing and Labelling: Accurately pack cushions and ensure each product is labelled correctly.
– Use of Packaging Materials: Safely and effectively use various packaging materials including hand tools, glues, nails, and padding to ensure products are securely packed and protected for delivery.
– Assembly and Quality Control: Ensure all items are assembled to the company's high standards, checking for defects or discrepancies before packing.
– Maintaining Clean Work Area: Keep your work area clean and organised to ensure a safe working environment and improve efficiency.
– Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
– Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
– Prior experience with packing or assembly work is beneficial but not required.
– Excellent attention to detail.
– Ability to safely handle hand tools and packaging materials.
– Strong work ethic and reliability.
– Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
– PPE Requirement: Safety boots and hi-visibility clothing must be worn at all times on the premises to ensure personal safety.
