A well-established wealth management firm, operating as the financial planning division of a respected legal business, is seeking an experienced paraplanner. The organisation delivers holistic financial planning solutions and offers whole-of-market advice. The successful candidate will join a professional and collaborative team, supporting advisers in the delivery of high-quality financial planning to clients.
Role
The paraplanner will provide technical support to financial advisers by preparing compliant and well-structured reports, research, and financial planning analysis. The role involves working closely with advisers to ensure financial solutions meet client objectives and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection, retirement planning and estate planning
- Prepare suitability reports, recommendation summaries and technical documentation
- Assist with fact-find analysis and identify appropriate financial planning strategies
- Carry out product and fund comparisons, portfolio analysis and cashflow modelling
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures
- Maintain accurate records and support the advice process from initial enquiry to implementation

Requirements
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a paraplanning role within an IFA or financial planning environment
- Progress toward Chartered status is advantageous but not essential
