A leading UK wealth management and financial planning firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its established Financial Planning team in London.

The Opportunity
Working closely with Financial Planners and Client Support teams, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial planning advice and an exceptional client experience.
You will be responsible for preparing detailed research, drafting suitability reports and supporting advisers with the delivery of advice across a broad range of financial planning areas, including pensions, investments, tax planning and estate planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality suitability reports and financial planning recommendations.
- Conduct technical research to support client reviews and new business advice.
- Attend client meetings alongside Financial Planners and prepare detailed meeting notes.
- Brief advisers on key client issues ahead of meetings.
- Liaise directly with clients to gather information and clarify requirements.
- Work collaboratively with advisers, administrators and wider stakeholders to deliver excellent client outcomes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, templates and best practice.
- Manage your own workload effectively whilst maintaining exceptional standards.
- Keep up to date with industry, tax and legislative developments.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess:
- Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) or be working towards completion.
- Previous experience within a Paraplanning role.
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and financial planning.
- Good understanding of UK taxation, including Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax.
- Experience supporting Financial Planners within a client-facing wealth management environment.
- Excellent report writing, research and communication skills.
- Chartered status or progress towards Chartered would be advantageous.
