The Opportunity

Working closely with experienced Financial Advisers, you will provide high-quality technical research, report writing and paraplanning support throughout the financial planning journey. Your expertise will help deliver tailored financial planning solutions that meet the complex needs of high-net-worth clients while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, compliance and client care.

This is a varied and rewarding role that offers exposure to sophisticated financial planning cases, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their technical knowledge within a respected wealth management practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and compliant suitability reports for Financial Advisers
  • Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection and wider financial planning solutions
  • Support Advisers throughout the end-to-end advice process
  • Liaise professionally with clients, providers and third parties, delivering an outstanding client experience
  • Produce accurate and compliant documentation within agreed service standards
  • Maintain detailed client records using Intelligent Office (or a similar back-office system)
  • Keep up to date with industry legislation, products and regulatory developments
  • Assist with developing and improving internal processes and business efficiencies
  • Effectively prioritise and manage your workload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail

About You

We're looking for an experienced Paraplanner who enjoys building strong relationships and takes pride in delivering first-class technical support.

You'll ideally have:

  • At least three years' experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment
  • Previous paraplanning or senior financial planning administration experience
  • Progress towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning products
  • Experience using Intelligent Office or similar financial planning software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, personable and client-focused approach
  • A genuine desire to work as part of a collaborative, close-knit team
