We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Paraplanner to join a successful and forward-thinking financial planning team. Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing detailed suitability reports and financial planning recommendations
- Conducting research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning
- Supporting Financial Advisers with client reviews and advice preparation
- Analysing client information and preparing cashflow and financial planning documents
- Liaising with providers and third parties to obtain relevant information
- Ensuring all advice documentation meets compliance and regulatory standards
- Maintaining accurate client records and updating internal systems
- Supporting the smooth progression of client cases from initial advice through to completion
- Keeping up to date with industry changes, regulations, and financial products
- Building strong working relationships with advisers and internal teams
Experience and Skills Requirements
- Previous experience within a Paraplanner role or similar financial planning support position
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent qualification required
- Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, protection, and retirement planning
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Professional communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and financial planning software
- Proactive, positive, and committed approach to personal development
