Paraplanner — Award-Winning Wealth Management Firm, Full Study Support £45K – £50K Base + bonus, benefits & funded exams | London (Hybrid)
Our client is a well-established, growing wealth management firm with an outstanding reputation for looking after private clients, professionals, and business owners. Due to a busy and expanding advice team, they are looking for a capable Paraplanner who wants to build a long-term career in a firm that genuinely invests in its people.
If you're a Paraplanner who's technically solid, takes pride in the quality of your reports, and wants a firm that will fund your exams and develop you towards senior paraplanning or Chartered status, this is a role worth a conversation.
Plenty of firms talk about development — this one delivers it. Every exam is funded, study leave is generous, and there's a clear internal framework for progression to Senior Paraplanner. The team is friendly, collaborative, and turnover is genuinely low, which tells you everything about the culture.
You'll join a close-knit paraplanning team supporting a group of experienced Advisers. You'll take ownership of cases from research through to report, with real variety across pensions, investments, protection, and IHT planning. You won't be a report-writing machine churning out templates — the Advisers here want your input, and the good ideas get heard.
The Role
- Producing clear, compliant suitability reports across a broad range of advice areas
- Technical research and product analysis using industry-leading tools
- Cashflow modelling to support long-term client planning
- Preparing meeting packs and supporting Advisers ahead of client reviews
- Liaising with providers and working alongside Administrators to keep cases moving
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of templates and processes
What They're Looking For
- Paraplanning experience within an IFA or wealth management environment
- Working towards or holding the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (full support provided to complete it)
- Solid technical knowledge across pensions and investments
- Strong written communication — you take pride in a well-crafted report
- Organised, accurate, and comfortable managing your own caseload
- A team player who enjoys being part of a supportive office
What's On Offer
- £45K – £50K base plus discretionary bonus
- Fully funded exams, study leave, and a structured progression path
- Hybrid working with a modern, central London office
- Pension, private medical, and a strong wider benefits package
- A stable firm with low turnover and a genuinely supportive culture
