?? Assistant Finance Officer | Basildon (Part Time) ??
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well respected local charity.
We're looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Officer to support the day to day finance function, working closely with the CEO and Finance Officer in a varied, hands-on role.
?? Basildon
?? Part Time – 2 to 3 days per week (Hours to be agreed)
?? Salary DOE, however around £30k – £40k full time equivalent, depending on experience
?? Permanent Position
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing invoicing and income reconciliation
- Bank reconciliations and payment processing
- Maintaining accurate financial records using Xero
- Preparing financial reports and supporting budgeting
- Assisting with grant monitoring and year-end accounts
- Supporting robust financial controls and compliance
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Experience in finance, bookkeeping or accounts
- Experience using Xero (preferred)
- Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- A compassionate, professional approach and a genuine desire to support a purpose-driven organisation
