Part-Time Class 1 Multi-Site Shunter DriverLeeds (LS10 & LS11)
We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Class 1 Multi-Site Shunter Driver to work for a well-established and highly respected logistics operation based across Leeds LS10 and LS11.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver looking to top up their weekly income, achieve a better work-life balance, or work just two days per week while still earning excellent rates of pay, an average of 20-30 moves per shift but there will be times when you will be sat in your cab chilling oh no 🙂
Shift Pattern
- Saturday: 06:00 – 18:00
- Sunday: 18:00 – 06:00
Pay Rates
- Saturday: £17.00 per hour
- Sunday: £20.00 per hour
The Role
This is a varied position involving approximately:
- 50% yard shunting duties
- 50% local road work
The driving element consists of short, local movements between sites and customer locations, with no long-distance trunking involved.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Comfortable with both yard shunting and on-road driving
- Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
- No more than 6 points.
