About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance department on a part-time basis (Around 25 hours per week). Working with a varied customer base across multiple sites, you will play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow while providing excellent customer service and supporting the wider finance function.
Duties will include:
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.
- Contacting customers by telephone, email and written correspondence regarding overdue invoices.
- Setting up new customer accounts and completing credit assessments.
- Processing credit card payments accurately.
- Producing reports to highlight outstanding account queries.
- Liaising with operational teams to resolve customer account issues.
- Issuing duplicate invoices and supporting customer enquiries.
- Providing support with month-end finance activities.
About the Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have previous credit control experience, excellent communication skills and confidence when speaking with customers by telephone. You will be organised, proactive and customer-focused, with good knowledge of Excel. A positive attitude and the ability to manage your workload effectively are essential.
