A fantastic part-time opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest. This fixed-term position is available from September and will run for one academic year. The role offers a competitive daily rate of £140 to £180, depending on experience, and is ideal for a qualified teacher seeking a flexible teaching position without the additional responsibilities of planning and marking.
Do you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)? Are you confident teaching pupils across Year 1 to Year 6? Do you have a positive, bubbly personality and the ability to engage learners of all ages?

The Role – PPA Teacher As a PPA Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, covering class teachers during their Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time. This role does not require any planning, preparation, or marking, allowing you to focus solely on delivering engaging and effective lessons.
You will teach a variety of subjects across Year 1 to Year 6, so flexibility and confidence across all primary age groups are essential. The successful candidate will be able to quickly establish positive relationships with pupils, maintain high expectations for behaviour, and create a stimulating learning environment wherever they are teaching.
