Are you a creative, compassionate, and patient individual who loves working with children with additional needs?
A wonderful SEND school in Wandsworth is seeking a Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join their caring and dynamic team, starting as soon as possible.
About the Role
You'll be supporting KS2 pupils with a range of special educational needs in a nurturing and therapeutic learning environment.
The role is 2-3 days per week, and is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on, creative, and child-centred work.
Day-to-day, you'll:

Support pupils in class and during creative learning activities

Use art, music, play, and sensory approaches to help children express themselves and build confidence

Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning and wellbeing support

Encourage communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation through engaging, meaningful experiences

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children with SEN or in a therapeutic or creative setting (school-based experience desirable)

A creative mindset – you might have skills or interests in art, music, drama, play, or sensory activities

A patient, caring, and positive approach to supporting children with diverse needs

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Reliability and enthusiasm to be part of a collaborative and nurturing team
