Part-time Senior Bookkeeper

Part-time Permanent (2 days a week)
£45k – £60k pro-rata depending on experience
A private Family Office is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join the business on a part-time basis (2 days a week). The successful candidate will be a hands-on finance professional with strong bookkeeping expertise, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for three entities
- Process approximately 100-200 transactions per month
- Complete monthly bank reconciliation
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns in line with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements
- Assist the CFO with ad hoc finance tasks as required
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE/BE:
- Prior experience working as a Senior Bookkeeper, ideally within a Family Office environment.
- AAT qualified (or equivalent) is desirable
- Prior experience of management accounts preparation
- Proficiency using Xero (essential)
- Professional, trustworthy and discreet
