Partnership Manager £35,000 – £40,000

A wonderful opportunity for an experienced Partnerships professional to join this inspirational charity which provides high impact programmes aimed at young people from under-represented backgrounds. A mix of remote and office-based working is offered (3 days needing to be in the offices based near Lewisham)
The Partnership Manager is responsible for helping to grow and diversify income streams through corporate partnerships, sponsorship and wider fundraising opportunities. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate experience within corporate fundraising, partnerships, business development or account management, within the non-profit/charity sector. You will be an outstanding relationship builder, with the ability to engage, influence and build credibility with a wide range of stakeholders. Have experience developing proposals, bids, funding applications as well as managing a pipeline working towards financial and activity targets.

Reporting to the Strategic Director this role focuses on securing new income, managing a portfolio of existing partners, and developing high-quality proposals and applications that support the organisation's fundraising objectives. Responsibilities include:
- Identify, research and develop new corporate partnership opportunities aligned with the organisations mission and strategic priorities.
- Secure mission aligned partnerships that generate financial, in-kind, and strategic support to increase opportunities for young people.
- Manage a portfolio of existing corporate partners, delivering excellent stewardship, engagement and impact reporting to maximise retention, renewals and opportunities for growth.
- Build strong relationships with corporate contacts and stakeholders at all levels, acting as a trusted and professional representative of the organisation.
- Identify opportunities to renew, deepen and expand existing partnerships through additional funding, employee engagement, pro bono support and collaborative activity.
- Develop high-quality proposals, sponsorship packages, and presentations materials tailored to the interests and priorities of prospective partners and funders.
- Support the wider fundraising team with trust and foundation applications where appropriate, contributing to organisational fundraising targets and sharing expertise across the team.
- Work closely with programme colleagues to align funding opportunities with programme priorities, outcomes and delivery plans.
- Work with communication colleagues to develop compelling case studies, impact reports and partnership communications that demonstrate the value and impact of the organisation’s work.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all prospect activity, applications, meetings and partnership engagement using Donorfy (CRM).
- Monitor and report on pipeline performance, income forecasts and progress against agreed targets and KPIs.
- Ensure all reporting requirements for funders and partners are delivered to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
- Support the preparation of reports and updates for senior leadership on fundraising activity, performance and emerging opportunities.
- Work closely with the Finance team to ensure income is accurately recorded and that restricted funding is appropriately monitored and reported.
- Ensure all fundraising activity complies with Charity Commission guidance, GDPR and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
- Identify opportunities to improve fundraising processes, systems and ways of working to enhance efficiency, supporter experience and partnership effectiveness.
- Make effective use of data, insight and emerging technologies, including AI tools where appropriate, to strengthen prospect research, proposal development and relationship management.
- Represent the organisation at meetings, events and networking opportunities, promoting our mission and building our profile with external stakeholders.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role that contribute to the effective operation of the fundraising team and achievement of organisational objectives.
