Your role as a Pastoral Youth Worker is to primarily be there to support the children their school day. Many of the children that attend this school have been identified as struggling with social, emotional and mental health issues. They are looking for an individual who will come in and help them find better ways to cope with their emotions while navigating their school work.
To be a successful Pastoral Youth Worker, you will need to be compassionate, keen to make a difference and also positive. These children need a resilient and positive person to uplift them every day and help facilitate a learning environment in which they feel comfortable and supported.
