Payroll Administrator
Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a busy and supportive team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong payroll experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple pay cycles, working closely with an external payroll provider and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing starters, leavers, and contractual changes across payroll cycles
- Managing weekly and monthly payroll inputs, including hours and adjustments
- Supporting statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and SPP
- Maintaining accurate holiday and absence records
- Handling payroll-related deductions including attachments of earnings and childcare vouchers
- Liaising with the external payroll provider to resolve queries and ensure smooth processing
- Producing reports on sickness, holiday, and payment schedules
- Supporting pension administration and responding to payroll queries
About You
- Previous experience in a payroll
- Strong Excel skills and confident working with spreadsheets
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
